Superior Technical Features:
- 3 mm thickness: ensures uniform heat distribution
- High thermal conductivity: food cooks better and retains more flavor over moderate heat. There is NEVER a need to use high flames
- Two handles: practical and stable even when full
- 99.5% purity: perfectly tolerates strongly acidic and salty foods (marinades, brines, and similar)
How to Use It Best:
- For first use, clean the pot thoroughly, rinse with boiling water, and dry
- Grease the inside with a little oil or butter and let it rest for a few hours
- Always cook over moderate heat for optimal results
- Add salt only during boiling to promote dissolution and prevent it from attacking the metal
- Never heat the pot empty over a flame
- Do not store food outside of refrigeration for more than 24 hours
An important detail about the dark patina: The patina that forms inside is due to the oxidation of the metal and represents a true inert protective barrier. It should not be removed. To keep the pot shining, use specific products for aluminum.
