How to best use your pot:
First use: carefully clean the pot, rinse it with boiling water, and dry it. Then, grease the inside with a bit of oil or butter and let it rest for a few hours.
During cooking: thanks to the high thermal conductivity of aluminum, there is no need to use high flames. Moderate heat allows foods to cook better and retain all their flavor. Always avoid heating the pot empty, whether on high or low heat.
With acidic and salty ingredients: the pot made of pure aluminum 99.5% is perfect for preparing marinades, brines, and dishes with strong flavors. Add salt only during boiling to promote its dissolution and protect the metal.
Food storage: do not use the pot to store food outside of refrigerated conditions for more than 24 hours.
Maintenance and cleaning:
Over time, the dark patina that forms inside is due to the natural oxidation of the metal: it is an inert protective barrier that must not be removed. To keep the pot shiny on the outside, use specific products for aluminum.
