50-liter Oak Barrel: the perfect choice for aging grappa and fine spirits. Oak wood, particularly European Oak, is valued for its extraordinary hardness and for the sweet and aromatic tannins that naturally enhance the structure and aromas of your spirits.
Guaranteed quality: each barrel is made from European Oak (Quercus Petraea) sourced from Eastern Serbia with a two-year seasoning, ensuring stability and superior organoleptic properties. Product suitable for containing spirits over time.
The barrel includes:
- Sturdy stand
- Wooden tap

How to prepare your barrel before use:
- Fill the barrel to 2/5 of its capacity with boiling salted water and shake well to moisten every part of the wood
- Let it rest for 2 days, shaking occasionally
- Empty the salty water and rinse thoroughly with pure water, allowing it to drain
- After 1 day, "season" the barrel by filling it with white wine and topping it off for about 10 days
- Empty the barrel and let it drain well for 2 days without rinsing with water
- The barrel is now ready to receive and age your spirit
