Before first use: Carefully clean the pot, rinse with boiling water, dry thoroughly, and grease the interior with a little oil or butter. Let it rest for a few hours before use.
During cooking: Food cooks better and retains more flavor over moderate heat. Thanks to the high thermal conductivity of 99.5% pure aluminum, there is never a need to use high flames. Add salt only during boiling to promote its dissolution and prevent it from attacking the metal.
Important precautions:
- Never heat the pot empty, regardless of flame intensity.
- Be cautious of contact with the pot when it is hot.
- Do not store food "outside of a refrigerated environment for more than 24 hours".
