How to use it best
Before first use: carefully wash with soap and water, rinse with boiling water, and dry thoroughly. Lightly grease the inside with oil or butter and let it rest for a few hours.
During cooking: food cooks more evenly and retains flavors better over moderate heat. Thanks to the high thermal conductivity of pure aluminum, it is never necessary to use high flames.
Preventing damage:
- Never heat the pot empty, even on low heat
- Add salt only during boiling to promote its dissolution and protect the metal
- Warning: the pot becomes very hot during use
Acidic and salty foods: the purity above 99% of the aluminum allows for safe cooking of acidic and salty dishes (marinades, brines) without risks.
Storage: do not store food inside the saucepan for more than 24 hours outside of a refrigerated environment.
