- On first use, carefully clean the saucepan, rinse with boiling water, and dry completely
- Grease the inside with a little oil or butter and let it rest for a few hours to help settle the surface
- Cook on moderate heat: thanks to the high thermal conductivity of pure aluminum, there is no need to use high flames
- Never heat the saucepan empty over the flame, whether high or low, to avoid overheating
- Add salt only during boiling to facilitate its dissolution and protect the metal
