V8 40x40 S/F CKP Filter Sheets: The professional solution for achieving crystal-clear and brilliant wines, limoncellos, and liquors. Made from cellulose fibers and diatomaceous earth, these filter sheets are designed to work with plate filters and ensure effective roughing, polishing, and sterilization of your liquids.
Technical Product Features:
- Dimensions: 40x40
- Type: V8 without holes
- Filtration grade: 12 microns
- Package: 25 pieces
- Compatibility: 40x40 filters (available in our store)
- Suitable for white and red wines
How to Use Filter Sheets Based on Micron Grade:
- Grade 0-4 microns: Ideal for the first filtration pass after fermentation. They retain the larger suspended particles, perfect as the initial phase of the process.
- Grade 8-12-16 microns (your product): The true stars of polishing! They retain fine particles and give the wine extraordinary shine. We recommend using them as the second filtration pass for optimal results.
- Grade 20-24 microns: The finishing phase. They remove the last micro-impurities and give the wine a crystalline appearance. Use them only after filtering with 8-12-16 sheets.
Why Choose the CKP Series: Resulting from constant research in food liquid and chemical-pharmaceutical applications, the CKP Series offers structural modifications that enhance technical features while maintaining high-quality standards. The use of noble cellulose and the improvement of the inlet side structure ensure higher filtration yields, while the recognizable marking of the outlet side prevents fiber release, increasing mechanical resistance during and after the process.
Important Usage Instructions:
- Always wet them with water or already polished product before inserting into the filter
- Insert one sheet between each pair of adjacent plates
- Always place rough side to rough side and smooth side to smooth side
