The filtering layers are made of cellulose and diatomaceous fibers and are used with plate filters and are ideal for filtering wines, limoncello, liqueurs, etc. to roughen, polish, sterilize liquids.

General use of filter cartridges:
0-4: Suitable for wine filtering after fermentation, they retain the larger suspended particles, so they do not produce a good wine finish.
8-12-16: They are used to retain smaller particles and give a good shine to the wine after racking. They are preferable as a second step of filtration.
20-24: They give shine to the wine because they remove the micro impurities in suspension. These filtering layers should only be used after filtering the wine at least once with 8-12-16 filters.
The constant research dedicated to the "CKP Series", used in all applications of food liquids and chemical-pharmaceutical solutions, has made it possible to make constructive changes capable of perfecting some technical characteristics of the layers while maintaining the high quality standard.
The use of new noble celluloses and the substantial improvement made to the structure of the inlet side - always marked "CKP" - allow higher yields while the recognizable marking of the outlet side guarantees against the release of fibers increasing mechanical resistance during and at the end of filtration.
WARNING: Before inserting the cartridges into the filter, they must be wetted with water or with already polished product. Each cartridge must be inserted between each pair of adjacent plates. Each rough face must face a rough face and each smooth face a smooth one.
