The filtering layers are made of cellulose and diatomaceous fibers and are used with plate filters. They are ideal for filtering wines, limoncellos, liqueurs, etc. to roughen, polish, sterilize liquids.

General use of filter boards:
0-4: Suitable for filtering wine after fermentation, they retain the larger particles in suspension, therefore they do not produce a good finish of the wine.
8-12-16: They are used to retain smaller particles and give a good shine to the wine after racking. They are preferred as a second step of filtration.
20-24: They give shine to the wine because they remove the micro impurities in suspension. These filtering layers should only be used after filtering the wine at least once with 8-12-16 filters.
The constant research dedicated to the “CKP Series”, used in all food liquid applications and chemical-pharmaceutical solutions, has made it possible to make constructive changes capable of perfecting some technical characteristics of the layers while maintaining the high quality standard.
The use of new noble celluloses and the substantial improvement made to the structure of the inlet side - always marked "CKP" - allow for higher yields while the recognizable marking of the outlet side guarantees against fiber shedding, increasing mechanical resistance during and at the end of filtration.
ATTENTION: Before inserting the boards into the filter, they must be wetted with water or with an already polished product. Each board must be inserted between each pair of adjacent plates. Each rough face must face a rough face and each smooth face a smooth one.
