How to Choose the Right Filtration Grade:
- Microns 0-4: Perfect for the first filtration after fermentation. They retain the largest suspended particles, preparing the wine for subsequent stages.
- Microns 8-12-16: The ideal choice for the second filtration stage. They retain smaller particles and give the wine good brightness and transparency.
- Microns 20-24: Reserved for the third stage, they eliminate residual micro-impurities for superior final brilliance. Use them only after at least one filtration with 8-12-16 pads.
