How to use filter cards for optimal filtration:
Grade 0-4 (Coarse Filtration):

Grade 8-12-16 (Intermediate Filtration):
Your ally for the second pass! They retain the smaller particles and give the wine a good shine. They represent the essential intermediate step between coarse filtration and final polishing.
Grade 20-24 (Polishing Filtration):
They eliminate micro-impurities in suspension, giving the wine that characteristic brilliance and fascinating clarity. Use exclusively after having already filtered the wine at least once with cards of grade 8-12-16.
