Complete gear group designed to transfer motion from the drive shaft to the cutting organ, transforming rotation and managing the typical stresses of working in dense vegetation (impacts, vibrations, and intermittent loads). The body is made of metal alloy with a ribbed structure and integrated mounting flange: this geometry helps maintain the alignment of the coupling and reduces play that, over time, can cause metallic noises, overheating, or abnormal wear. The lubrication/sealing point (hexagonal cap) is also visible in the photo, useful for maintaining the internal grease: proper lubrication is often the difference between a silent gear and one that tends to “sing” under load. The z10 splined coupling is the key detail to check before purchase as it determines the coupling with the flexible shaft/rod and prevents slipping or premature wear of the splines.
