This is a complete final drive group for a 28 mm shaft, designed to replace the entire transmission head when it is necessary to restore the brush cutter to clean and "centered" operation. The high torque version is aimed at working with more output torque: in practice, it is useful when working for long periods on tall grass and tougher vegetation, because an orderly head maintains more regular rotation and reduces the typical jerks of transmissions with play or worn bearings. The advantage of a complete head, compared to changing a single gear, is that it also restores everything that is "around" the gears: rotation supports, spacers, retaining rings, and seals. When these elements wear out, the head can become noisy, heat up more, and develop lateral play: even with still decent gears, the work worsens because the alignment is no longer correct. With a complete replacement, on the other hand, you start over with matched seats, supports, and seals, reducing the risk that an old component will cause the new one to work poorly.
