This refined barrel made of European Oak is specifically designed for the containment and aging of grappa and other quality spirits. Oak wood, particularly the Oak, is the preferred choice for true enthusiasts due to its extraordinary hardness and rich heritage of polyphenolic substances—the tannins—that provide sweet and aromatic notes perfectly harmonized with the structure and aroma of your spirit.
Selected raw material and guaranteed seasoning
Each botticina is made exclusively from European Oak (Quercus Petraea) sourced from Eastern Serbia, subjected to a two-year seasoning process to ensure stability and quality over time. The product is suitable for the containment of spirits over time and is supplied complete with all necessary accessories:

Preparing your new botticina: step-by-step guide
To ensure the best aging performance, carefully follow these steps:
- Fill the barrel to 2/5 of its capacity with boiling water and salt, then shake well to moisten every part of the wood
- Let the solution rest for two days, shaking occasionally
- Empty the salty water and rinse with pure water, allowing it to drain completely
- After one day, proceed with the seasoning: fill with white wine and top up for about ten days
- Empty the wine and let it drain well for two days—do not rinse with water
- The barrel is now ready to receive and age your spirit
