To achieve the best results, carefully follow these preparation steps:
- Fill the barrel up to 2/5 of its capacity with boiling water and salt, then shake it well to evenly moisten all internal parts;
- Let it rest for two days, shaking the solution occasionally;
- Completely empty the saltwater and rinse with pure water, allowing it to drain well;
- After a day, proceed with the conditioning: fill the barrel with white wine and keep it full for about ten days, topping off as necessary;
- Completely empty the wine and let it drain for two days without rinsing;
- Your SMALL OAK BARREL is now perfectly prepared and ready to welcome the spirit for aging.
